Hi there! My name is Sylvie. I'm a licensed therapist and a white, queer, femme, Ashkenazi Jewish person.
Cliche as it may be, I know it to be true—each of us is innately good, entirely whole, and worthy of every ounce of care. That guides my work more than anything else. I am committed to listening very deeply for who you are and what you need, and to creating space for you to really hear, feel, and know yourself.
As a therapist, I draw primarily on my training in somatics, psychodynamics, Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also currently in training to become a sex therapist. My work is shaped by ongoing political education and my understanding that the root cause of so much of our suffering is white supremacy and colonialism.
While I welcome all clients, I most commonly work with queer and trans folks, young adults, and trauma survivors.
