Kintsugi Therapist Collective is a community of therapists and aligned care workers dedicated to embodied and liberatory visions of care.
Kintsugi Therapist Collective (“KTC”) is a virtual community, consultation space, and professional resource hub for therapists and care workers seeking more sustainable, embodied, and liberatory ways of practicing.
Kintsugi Therapist Collective was created in response to the widespread burnout, isolation, and unsustainable expectations many therapists and care workers face within clinical training programs, healthcare systems, and private practice culture.
Founded by A. Onyx Fujii and Asher Pandjiris, KTC centers the belief that therapists are whole human beings — not blank slates — and that meaningful care work requires relationships to embodiment, interdependence, accessibility, and sustainability.
KTC offers consultation, mentorship, training, and community support for trans and nonbinary therapists, BIPOC clinicians, chronically ill and disabled providers, and other practitioners seeking alternatives to extractive and oppressive professional models.
Our work is rooted in three core commitments:
Responding to therapist and care worker burnout through sustainable practice development, community support, and approaches to clinical work that do not depend upon chronic overextension or self-erasure.
Centering disability justice in care work by recognizing access, interdependence, embodiment, pacing, rest, and flexibility as essential components of ethical and sustainable therapeutic practice.
Supporting relational and authentic therapeutic practice by challenging the expectation of therapist neutrality and blank-slate professionalism in favor of more embodied, human, anti-oppressive, and relational ways of working.
KTC believes therapists deserve practices and professional communities that support their wellbeing — not just their productivity. Our goal is to help practitioners build ways of working that are financially sustainable, emotionally survivable, and aligned with their values.
Whether you are seeking therapist consultation, professional mentorship, organizational training, or community with aligned practitioners, KTC offers spaces for support, reflection, learning, and collective care.
