Meet Maz
Mazal Masoud Etedgi
I’m Maz (pronouns: they/them/theirs), an arab jewish, queer and trans Drama Therapist, artist and theatre maker, community herbalist and cultural organizer. I am a registered Drama Therapist (RDT) currently offering individual and group drama therapy sessions virtually, as well as herbal care sessions. I’m located in Philadelphia, PA on Lenni Lenape land, and I’m currently a worker-owner at Hawthorn’s Brood, a Philly-based herbal apothecary co-op. My Drama Therapy sessions are grounded in drama and art therapy practices, somatics, meditation and mindfulness, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Liberation Psychology principles, and intergenerational/ancestral healing. Imagination, play, ancestral connection, and ritual are at the core of my healing and artistic offerings. I’m a sagittarius sun, capricorn moon and libra rising.
