Hello! I am a White, queer, neurodivergent, polyamorous woman practicing trauma-informed psychotherapy in Chicago, Illinois, which is located on the unceded traditional homelands of the Council of the Three Fires: the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations.

I initially came to this vocation through having been on the receiving side of both unhelpful therapy and good therapy in my late teens, which instilled in me the desire to become the kind of therapist I wished I could have had the first time. In my current practice, I primarily work with people who identify as neurodivergent, queer, trans, or a combination of the above, as well as with folks who are polyamorous, kinky, or other kinds of relationship-diverse. I practice the principles of harm reduction, sex positivity, disability justice, and anti-oppression work (in all its various forms) to the best of my ability, and I’m always striving to do better tomorrow than I did yesterday.

Much of my praxis in the therapy room focuses on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which I’ve found to be an outstanding method of helping clients work through trauma while disclosing exactly as much as they want to during the process. I was trained in EMDR in 2021 and have been using it consistently ever since. I also draw from exploratory psychodynamic therapy, parts work (Internal Family Systems), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills practice as the moment requires. At the end of the day, I encourage my clients to keep whatever works best for them and release the rest of it.
