I am a white queer social worker and therapist living and working in Brooklyn, NY, with extended training in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I strive to bring a spirit of collaboration, radical acceptance, and a critical consciousness lens so that we can frankly and thoughtfully explore what progress, safety, hope, and trust really look like for you. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational theory, by which I mean that I consider the dynamic contours of our working relationship to be a valuable force in the room. I layer those theories with EMDR, DBT, parts work, mindfulness, and somatic work to invite your nervous system into the conversation when possible, so you can heal and grow at your own pace. I enjoy working with people on grief, chronic pain and illness, life transitions, gender, sexuality, relationship structures, spirituality, dissociation, trauma, depression, and bipolar disorder. In my view, these are complex topics that are well served by gentle, slow exploration.
